SCREEN established a preparatory wholly-owned subsidiary of PCB-related equipment business

SCREEN Holdings announced to establish a preparatory wholly-owned subsidiary in order to assume PCB-related equipment business of SCREEN Graphic and Precision Solutions, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary, too.

New company “SCREEN PE Company Split Preparatory ” was established by capital of 10 million yen. This enterprise will be assumed at April 1, 2017.

Toppan Printing develops A4 size electronic paper

Toppan Printing announced to develop A4 size E-Ink type electronic paper “pella”. It's expected to be used for directions in production site. The company will introduce it to end user as pilot use from April, 2017, and release officially from April, 2018.

It's composed of display part with flexible electronic paper and control part which functions as communication by wireless LAN and rewrite. It's developed for directions in production site of enterprise. Unlike in the case of conventional tablet PC, display part and control part can be separated by making use of control technology of electronic paper. Except for rewrite time of the data, information can be browsed at condition of separation of display part; as a result, it can be used at same feeling as paper base directions.

Mitsubishi Electric releases 10.6 inch TFT-LCD with high function and quality touch panel for industrial

Mitsubishi Electric announced to release 10.6 inch WXGA TFT-LCD with projected capacitance type touch panel.

In this touch panel, compatible control circuit of high sensitivity, shock resistance, and multipoint detecting is built-in, as a result, high function and high quality were realized compared to conventional products. Concretely, it's possible to operate TFT-LCD at various environments, such as, on thick guard glass (5 �o thickness), by multi-touch at maximum 10 points, at state of muzzling thick heat-resistant globe, and at state of adherence of droplet, and so on. Also, it's correspond to all kind of optional, such as, glass bonding process, strengthening treatment of guard glass, anti-reflection treatment, and soil-release treatment.

Panasonic releases PET film with Cu film for large size touch-panel

Panasonic announced to release PET film with Cu film “R-H825”for large size touch-panel which is available to electric board, signage, amusement system, and so on, and start to mass-produce from December, 2016.

It's possible to suppress breaking defect by superior resistance of flection property of R-H825. Also, in R-H825, low resistance Cu with surface resistance 1 Ω/cm² is adopted as conductor layer. As a result, high sensitive property and easy operation are realized in touch-panel. And also, it's possible to correspond to pen input with multi-point and high motion. Of course, it's easy to correspond to high resolution display by fine Cu mesh. By the way, it can be supplied as sensor film (Cu mesh).

NAGASE and Nagase Chemtex strengthen relationship with Inkron

NAGASE and Nagase Chemtex announced to gain the stock 8.9 ％ of Inkron Company (Hong Kong). They strengthen relationship with Inkron Oy (Finland) which is a holding company of Inkron (Hong Kong) all the more.

Inkron is a next generation material maker for display, LED, power IC, and printed-electronics. This company holds frontier siloxane polymer.

NAGASE group strengthens enterprise of display, touch-sensor, and wearable products by this collaboration.
